Welcome

The Institute of Exit Advisors has been founded to provide a set of professional benchmarks and standards that covers a multi faceted industry. The Institute in conjunction with leading industry partners and other association bodies around the world has developed a set of methodologies and processes that every advisor should follow. Its objective is to raise the professional benchmark and develop a set of industry standards.

Exit Planning refers to the practice of working with a business to help maximise its value and prepare for transition either through private sale or a range of other ownership transfer techniques.

The Institutes goal is to help advisors to integrate Exit Planning into their practice. In order to do this the Institute delivers standards, processes and practical tools designed to advance the exit planning profession.

The Institute of Exit Advisors is one of the most respected bodies in the world for Exit Advisory. It brings together business brokers, accountants, lawyers, financial planners, HR professionals and coaches into one organisation with the goal of educating and improving the knowledge, skills and professionalism of the exit advisory function.

Our goal is to work with some of the best thought leaders in the world to create

1. A set of worldwide benchmarked standards that can be incorporated into any advisory practice.
2. To recognise the excellent work in the setting of standards and accreditation by other respected bodies  and to provide access to the accreditation process.
3. To create a free membership library that fosters the growth and development of material and resources in this area.
4. To offer a mentoring program to help advisors to add  "Exit Advisory"
5. To assess and recommend products that meet the quality guidelines of the Institute's board of governors.
